Holy Week and Easter in Barlborough and Clowne

The most moving, powerful week of the church calendar is upon us!We begin Holy Week with our Palm Sunday services at 9.15am at Barlborough and 11am at Clowne at which we will hear the whole story of the Passion read to us. We will be joined at Clowne by Coco the donkey outside who will give rides to children after the service. Eco Church Coffee Morning – Sat 21 Mar 10am-12noon at Clowne Parish Church

At St John the Baptist, Clowne, we are aiming for the Eco Church Award. Come along to our coffee morning to find out how as a church we can gain this award and what you can do at home with recycling. Martin Burrell from Bolsover District Council will be present to explain how to use the new food waste caddies we’ve all been issued with and also with lots of hints and tips for recycling.
