Images from our Book themed Flower and Brick Festival 2026

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating our patron St James alongside the Big Barlborough Festival which took place across the village. Our Book-themed Flower and Brick Festival was very popular, not least the offer to try bell ringing this year which pulled in some new people. Even the MP, Natalie Fleet came to have a go! Here are some photos of the spectacular displays. Many thanks to all who contributed, we raised £575 for church funds.

Big Barlborough Festival 11th-12th July 2026

Barlborough Parish Council, Heritage Centre, the National Garden Scheme and local churches have collaborated to create the third of its kind Big Barlborough Festival taking place from 11th to 12th July 2026 in the picturesque Derbyshire village of Barlborough.
