Station 4: The Locked Room (John 20:19)

When it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and the doors of the house where the disciples had met were locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, ‘Peace be with you.’

The room was locked but that didn’t stop Jesus coming in and saying ‘Peace be with you’ to his friends, to those who’d denied him and run away. He doesn’t say ‘where were you’ but ‘peace be with you’.

Welcome Jesus into your heart, hear his words, ‘Peace be with you’.

We adore you O Christ and we bless you

Because by your glorious resurrection you have given light to the world
