Journey with us in Holy Week to the cross and beyond in Barlborough and Clowne

Easter and the week running up to it (Holy Week) is the most important date in the Christian calendar. In our parishes this year we are going to be going on a journey engaging all 5 of our senses, travelling through Holy Week with Jesus and his disciples to the bustle of Jerusalem, the noisy temple courtyard, the poignant Last Supper where Jesus washed his friends’ feet, through to the betrayal in the Garden of Gethsemane and on to the cross of Calvary on Good Friday and then beyond to the empty tomb.

Each service in Holy Week will have a meditation on one of the 5 senses as we travel together. Do join us for as many services as you can – you get out of Holy Week what you put in – if you go directly from Palm Sunday to Easter Day you miss out on the richness of this powerful story of our salvation in Christ.

I’m looking forward to it – I hope you are too. These are the details of our services:
