Remembrance Sunday in Barlborough
Join us on Sunday 10th November 2019 at 10.15am for our Service of Remembrance followed by the Act of Remembrance and laying of wreaths at Barlborough Memorial Garden at 11am. Refreshments will be served afterwards at Barlborough Methodist Church. A special Choral Evensong for Remembrance will be at 6pm at St James’. The Remembrance Service at Clowne this year is at the Salvation Army at 9.45am (no service at Clowne Parish Church).
Harvest Festival Fun Day
Get ready for a fantastic day of community action and inspiration this Sunday! Come to our family-friendly service at 11am, to the litter pick at 12noon (starting at Clowne Community Centre) or church at 1pm for a picnic and craft workshops – make a beeswax wrap! Bring all the family and let’s make a positive impact! If you come to the service, please bring some non-perishable food for the foodbank. Please also save empty crisp packets and bring them along…
Songs of Praise!
Who doesn’t like a big sing song. Come along to sing your favourite hymns. The choir will also be singing the theme from the Vicar of Dibley! Vote for your favourite hymn at our Flower Festival and see if it makes the final cut!
Quiz Night with Cheese and Wine (Tickets £5)
Come along for a fun Quiz Night in church with cheese and wine. Tickets are £5 available from church or the Little School Barlborough Coffee Shop Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
