RIP Rev’d David Hull
It is with great sadness that I write to tell you that our dear associate priest, Rev’d David Hull, died peacefully on Tuesday 4th August. I had the tremendous privilege of giving him the last rites with his wife Chris and daughter Ashleigh by his side. He became particularly alert as I read these words from the letter to the Romans: Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness,…

Celebrating 75 years since VJ Day in Barlborough 2020
This Saturday 15th August we celebrate 75 years since the decisive end of the Second World War, Victory in Japan Day. Watch our short service here: Here is the order of service should you want to follow it at home: You’ll see the bunting has returned to Barlborough for this celebration and the Parish Council are encouraging people to have a socially distanced afternoon tea with neighbours from 2pm.
