Hello from the Rector

Dear friends,

St James Choir led by Steve Palfreyman and our organist Mike Robinson sang Choral Evensong beautifully at Derby Cathedral last weekend. Can I encourage you to come along to St James this Sunday at 3pm for the very first ever (in my memory at least) Civic Service for Bolsover District Council in our church. It will be great to see as many as possible attend in support of Cllr Duncan Haywood, Chair of the Council and member of our congregation. 

Also this Sunday at 5pm is our Refresh service at Clowne – why not give it a whirl? An ideal service to bring a curious friend along to.
