Hello from the Rector

Dear friends,

This week it is Barlborough’s turn to celebrate Harvest Festival. Please bring non-perishable items for the foodbank and a donation for the Bishop’s Harvest Appeal which aims to raise £20,000 for an environmental sustainability and community peacebuilding project in Bujumbura, Burundi.

Remembering our loved ones
Remembrance Season is approaching. We have special services where we remember our loved ones who we see no longer in November:

Fauré’s Requiem will be sung by the choir at Barlborough on Sunday 2^nd November at 5pm.
An All Souls Memorial will take place at Clowne Parish Church on Monday 3^rd November at 7pm.

At both services names will be read aloud and there will be an opportunity to light a candle. There are letters available at church for you to take away that include the form for the Christmas Light of Life services.
